We don’t think it’s right or fair that injured people have to suffer with medical debt or fight insurance companies, especially as they are still recovering from their injuries. That is why we make it our mission to take the burden off your shoulders. We zealously represent our clients against those whose negligence has caused needles injuries. Whether the claim is for an injury caused by allegations of automobile negligence, slip and fall, medical negligence, sexual abuse or harassment, negligent security, we passionately pursue your case.
Here are five key steps you should take immediately following any accident:

Report The Incident

File a report so that a record of the accident exists. Contact the police and/or let the business manager or property owner know what has happened. Ask for a copy of the report before you leave.

Document the Accident Site

Document the accident site as much as possible. If you are physically able, take pictures of the accident scene and/or area and; determine if there are surveillance cameras on site and request copies of the video. If you are unable to physically document the accident site, ask someone to do it for you- just be sure you get their name and contact information.

Seek Medical Treatment

Immediately seek medical attention. Even if you believe your injuries to be minor, visit your physician or go to the emergency room as soon as you leave the accident site. There is a chance that you could be badly hurt and not realize it until the shock subsides. Be sure to obtain copies of all medical records and follow your doctor’s treatment plan.

Refrain from Discussing your Case

Stop talking! It’s common to want to speak to our friends and family once an accident occurs but you could inadvertently say something that is later taken out of context and it may damage your claim. You should definitely avoid speaking with insurance companies or their attorneys, as their goal is to pay you as little as possible and they will try to get you to say something that compromises your rights.
